Vangelis Seitanidis (1964) was born in Athens and studied scriptwriting and film directing at the Columbia University Film Division, while attending courses at The Actors Studio at the same time. He worked as an assistant director to Theo Angelopoulos and Nikos Panayotopoulos, with whom he also collaborated on the script of The Bachelor. He has directed music videos and commercials. Two of his monographs on the works of Wim Wenders (1988) and Robert Altman (1987) have been published by Aigokeros Publications.
