Dimitris Kitsikoudis

Dimitris Kitsikoudis was born in Didymoteicho, Greece, in 1966. He studied film directing at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos. He has been working in film and television since 1989. He has collaborated with Theo Angelopoulos, Kostas Koutsomitis, Manousos Manousakis, Andreas Thomopoulos, and many more directors. He attended workshops on historical and creative documentary filmmaking, organized by EDN in collaboration with ERT (Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation), Vouli (tv station of the Hellenic Parliament), and MEDIA Desk Hellas. He is the head of the Committee of Filmmaking Presence and Theater at the UNESCO Club for Culture of Peace. He is also a member of the Greek Documentary Network, and the Greek Directors Guild.
